When you drop $50 worth of technical pencils out of a art bag on your way home from work. Oh, yeah, and you have to be staggeringly sick on top of it, so you don't notice until six hours later, when all hope of finding said pencil case on a busy street is long gone.

Yeah ... it's been one of those weeks. All my 2mm drafting pencils (I keep three to switch between leads easily), a complete set of technical pencils ranging from .9mm to .3mm, a snazzy circle ruller and various erasers ... gone ... poof ... bye-bye.

So, yeah ... I'm a bit bummed/ticked about that one.

It happened Wednesday. I've had a chest cold for about a week now, and had to leave work early due to a severe cough and a good case of disorientation. *Dolphinryder will confirm the fact that I absolutely HATE NyQuill, but when I got home, I went straight to the medicine cabinet and downed a good dose, and went promptly to sleep.

Y'know there's a reason they show people taking NyQuill in bed ... that's about as FAR as you're going to get, buddy.

I proceeded to sleep for the rest of the day, only waking when Jessi prompted me to rehydrate and stuff some nurishment down my throat.

I'm feeling better now ... the chough is still phlemmy and lingering, but I can deal with that. What bites my butt is begging my son to borrow HIS 2mm pencil so I can work on some much illos that are demanding attention.

Ah well, could be worse ...

... could be raining ...

Oh, wait ... that's tomorrow.
